Reading strategies help me a lot when I’m reading.
Vocabulary and summary helps me to understand something. When I read, and I have a word that I don’t understand its mean, first, I look at the situation and type of that word to guess the meaning, then, I check in the dictionary to know the right meaning. It’s also helps me to remember the word longer

When I read a long text that I don’t understand, I summarize it into a shorter text.
“Greg comes up with a list of resolutions. He’s trying to help his family to improve their weakness. But he doesn’t success.”
Connection, Visualization, and Question tower make the book more interesting to me. When I read and I find some commons between me and the character in the book, then I like the book.

When I read and I ask question of the sense that I don’t understand, then I answer it. When I do that, I feel more interesting in the book, it helps me to understand the sense deeply.
Before: What’ll happen to Greg?
Middle: His brother shoots paintball gun in Greg’s butt.
After: I like the part when Greg has the list of thing to do, I have that list, too.
When I read and I feel bore, I’ll draw a picture, tell why I like that sense, and why it’s so important to the book. When I draw a picture, and why it’s so important to the book.
Like: I like it because it tells that Greg is opposite to me. I’m good in math and I love it, but Greg doesn’t. This sense is important because it tells about Greg new years.
Inference helps me to understand the character more. I give my opinion about the character and tell why I say that.
I: Greg has a good father.
E: When Greg told him the story of Ms. Canfield, he wasn’t angry, but he finished Greg’s job, cut the grass.
Prediction makes me excited about what happen next. For me, it’ll be fun to guess what happen next.
P: Greg will get better in math.
E: He has a new math book.
